LA POCHA NOSTRA: UROBOROS
UROBOROS: 5 psychomagic actions against violence
Uroboros (2017) was performed at the Museum of Contemporary Arts Tucson, Arizona part of the August 2018 La Pocha Nostra workshop with Guillermo Gomez Pena, Balitronica Gomez and Michele Ceballo. It is a is a post-apocalyptic and posthuman series of live art actions in search for a more complex notion of identity and social belonging. This brand new performance by La Pocha Nostra employs the troupe’s trademark “robo-baroque/cyborg-kitsch’ aesthetic and acid humor through the ritual presentation of live art and live language. This performance is considered a participatory act and a ritual of social transformation.
Directed by Guillermo Gomez Pena and Balitronica Gomez
Performed by members of the La Pocha Nostra Workshop in Tucson, Arizona 2017.
